Womens ArbCamp is an initiative of women for women, trans and non binary, within the arb profession. The goal is to create a safe, friendly, fun and inclusive event for all levels of skills and interests within Arboriculture, from climbing and pruning work to consultancy and business management.
This years Womens ArbCamp will be 31st of August 18.00 – 12.00 3rd of September at Baardegem, Belgium. The local currency is euro.

The event is free of charge for participants and will include dinner on Thursday, breakfast, lunch and dinner on Friday and Saturday, breakfast and lunch on Sunday. There will be camping on site with space for campervans, tents and hammocks. There is limited electricity on site so please make sure you bring a spare battery for your devices.
For people arriving by air, Brussels airport is the closest. From here you can then use public transport to get to Opwijk. Times and prices can be found at https://www.belgiantrain.be/en

Travel arrangement WAC2023
We will have practical workshops as well as a knowledge-based workshops and we will include general climbing.
Some of the highlights:
– Ann Elisabeth from Träd och Säkerhet will host a chainsaw workshop.
– Arjan from de Bomeniers will go through how to do a pulling test on a tree.
– Fredrika from ArboLuz will talk us through ergonomics in relation to treework.
